Research and Development Department


The key function of Research and Development (R&D) Department is to help PVTC maintain its competitiveness in TVET sector, introduction of new projects and value addition in the existing projects. This means keeping keen eye on innovative trends, strategically analyzing their competitors and development of sound understanding of current conditions within TVET sector. We are responsible for research, planning, and implementing new and overseeing the development of new products.

R&D department recommends policies for improvement of processes throughout the organization while ensuring strong and effective communication. The department is responsible for proposing new projects including feasibilities and execution plan after coordinating with national and international donors. R&D department coordinates with Finance and Accounts department regarding allocation of resources for development projects and with the operational team for their successful implementation and execution.

R&D department in collaboration with Curriculum department provides guidance regarding improvements in current curricula as per market requirements as well as recommends induction of new curricula as in accordance with local and international job market. The department is responsible for controlling, coordinating and carrying out research in various departments of PVTC and market related matters, guaranteeing the continuous innovation of products and work processes.
