











EID EXHIBITION ACROSS VTIS’s!
A series of Eid Exhibitions were threw across VTI’s from 21st Ramadan to onwards
Chand Raat. The philosophy behind
theses Exhibitions was to involve PVTC destitute trainees in “Entrepreneurial
Activities” to able them to become productive part of society.
Exhibitions comprising of following programs
-
1. Prepared Dress Exposition.

2. Embroidery trade shows off.
-
3. Offer services concerned to Beautician Trade.
Following benefits were hunted by trainees.

Learned act of sale.

Activities help trainees to position their self as a “Marketer”

Create motivation among trainees.

Create close liaison outside public & trainees.

Feel inspiration to start their own business

14TH AUGUST PAKISTAN DAY CELEBRATION ACROSS VTI’S
Independence Day of Pakistan celebrated across VTI's to aware the youth
(Trainees) of PVTC regarding the mission behind the existence of Pakistan &
Quaid-e-Azam philosophy, especially allied with Vocational & Technical Education
for the betterment of Pakistan, which he addressed to All Education Conference
(November 27, 1947).
''I must emphasize that greater attention should be paid to technical and
vocational education.''
Carnival related to Independence Day celebrated in following forms

Content Writing Competition among trainees

In bound Seminars in VTIs
No. of VTI's celebrated Independence Day (Out of Total).
Almost all the VTIs celebrated the Independence Day at different Levels.
Type of activities performed by trainees
Celebration of the Pakistan Day started from the flag hoisting ceremony in VTIs
after recitation and translation from Holy Quran in the presences of Principal
and all staff members, after that National Anthem was sung by the trainees.
Activities impact on trainees.
Program was ended with the National Anthem, Prayer and some new hopes, emotions
and new promises to our Motherland; we shall never deny scarifying for our
beloved country at any step. All the trainees had shown their patriot views. A
combined statement was spoken by staff & trainees that all of us will remain
loyal to country & work harder for its development.

:: MOU between City & Guilds and PVTC ::

PVTC / City and Guilds International-UK
signed an MoU for promoting technical education in Pakistan on October 11, 2010.
MoU is being signed by Punjab Vocational Training Council (PVTC) Chairman
Mr.Faisal Ijaz and Director British Council Lahore Mr.Darrin Vardon.
:: PVTC Flood Relief Efforts ::
-
PVTC has provided over 85,175 stitched suits to
flood victims in all over Punjab. In addition to this our trainees are stitching
thousands of dresses for flood victims with the collaboration of civil
society.
-
Our "Clinical Assistant" trade trainees are
assisting in medical relief in flood effected areas are employees and students
are doing work in flood effected areas.

We are setting up new VTIs in flood effected 8
Districts of Southern Punjab.
-
The Team has also setup Natural Purification and
Filtration Plant in different VTIs in flood affected areas to provide free clean
drinking water to the local communities. This plant has a capacity of 36,000
liter/day and 21 such plants with the total capacity of 756,000 liter/day will
be installed before end September, 2010.

VTIs of PVTC have setup collection centers for the
help of flood victims in all over Punjab.

We have also provided financial and medical
support to the affected trainees and staff of VTIs.
-
All PVTC Management at Head Office, Regional
Offices, Area Offices, VTIs and specially young girls and boys of Vocational
Training Institutes in all over Punjab are actively taking part in flood relief
efforts by providing assistance to NGOs and local authorities.

PVTC will welcome to work with other agencies in
flood relief efforts as have presence in all over Punjab.
