:: PVTC IT Systems ::

 

The function of the PVTC MIS Department is to develop and implemented IT systems and built infrastructure at PVTC, Area Offices and VTIs to monitor and control educational activities, financial controls and human resources management. 

  • The department carries its main functions with idea to:

  • Developing and implementing computerized integrated accounting & management information system at PVTC, Area Offices & VTIs for monitoring the activities

  • Establish better controls and facilitate efficient decision making through information sharing.

  • Develop PVTC electronic communication systems

  • Training of the human resources to make the best use of IT systems

:: MIS Systems has been categorized into below three systems ::

 

       :: Academic Systems ::

 

  1. These system are operational at VTIs in all over Punjab, in which completed record of all trainees like admissions, daily attendance, Monthly testes / internal assessments, delivery of daily lesson plans, training manual delivery, On job training and trainee first job placement etc is being maintained.

  2. On daily basis all above data is electronically transmitted to PVTC - Lahore

  3. Examination Management and Digital Certificate Printing system is operational at PVTC

:: Financial Systems ::

 

PVTC, Area Offices and VTIs are doing their financial management through this system. It has three modules General Ledger, Budgeting & MOZU scholarship.

VTIs and area offices are electronically transmitting their data to PVTC - Lahore on fortnightly basis.

 

:: Communication Systems ::

 

This system includes email system of all PVTC and data transfer system of Area Offices & VTIs.
